Congratulations Michael Young, 2010 OISCAC!

Half Acre Cycling and HRS/Rock Lobster congratulate Michael Young, the winner of the third annual Official Illinois State Cyclocross Awesomeness Champion Award.

Michael, as part of a West Town Bikes program, has put his heart and time into a successful effort to get Chicago’s young folks out to race cyclocross by providing loaner bikes, offering tips, and reaching out to new potential racers. Toward the end of the season we saw his efforts come to fruition as new, younger faces began taking to the course.
