OUISCSSC! @ Hopkins Park

North Central Cyclery and Half Acre Cycling, co-promoters of the Hopkins Park Cross/Chicago Cyclocross Cup Series Race #2, are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Officially Unofficial Illinois State Cyclocross Single Speed Championship (OUISCSSC).

Registration will be on-site only, $10 for currently registered competitors in the Hopkins Park Cross race as a second race or $30 otherwise. Racers should indicate they would like to register for the OUISCSSC at check-in. All competitors will be required to present their valid USAC license or purchase a 1-day license on-site.

The OUISCSSC race will be held at 10:49AM on October 3, 2010, starting two minutes after the Masters 50+ category. The race will last 45 minutes and will finish on the lead lap of the heat. Bikes allowed for entry must have a single usable gear in the front and back, and must feature two working brakes.

Prizes for the race are to be determined. A championship jersey will also be awarded to the highest-placed Illinois resident.
